John K. Butler, Of Counsel
John Butler is a senior corporate counsel with 11 years of experience as a corporate attorney supporting and managing in-house teams in a broad range of legal matters. At Larsen Walters, he provides a creative and business-first counsel approach to help clients grow their companies. John’s key focus areas are corporate, employment, product counseling, healthcare, and mergers and acquisitions.
John graduated from Seattle University School of Law, summa cum laude. John served as Corporate Counsel at A Place for Mom and then stood up a legal department as Director of Legal at Remote Medical International. Most recently, John served as Senior Corporate Counsel at Equinox Business Law, where he was fractional general counsel to up to 10 small and medium-sized businesses at a time. In this role, John closed more than 15 mergers and acquisitions and many other business successions.
John currently serves as an arbitrator with FINRA and is a member of the Poulsbo Rotary. Previously, John served on the board of the Dispute Resolution Center of King County for six years and was the board president. He was also part of the Executive Committee of the WSBA ADR Section.
Originally from Fall City, Washington, and now in Kingston, John feeds his love for the outdoors through gardening and biking. He also enjoys playing board games and spending time with his wife and two rambunctious children.
John is licensed to practice law in the state of Washington.
