Commercial litigation is an expensive business tool.  From case evaluation to the filing of pleadings and motions, there must be a legitimate business reason to justify taking action.  Before we file a lawsuit, we insist that our clients search for a business solution that does not involve costly litigation.  Sometimes, talking clients out of a lawsuit is the best thing to do. 

But, when commercial parties cannot resolve serious differences, a lawsuit is sometimes the only way to resolve the problem.  These are the cases we bring and defend.   

Some lawyer bring cases to obtain a quick settlement.  We bring cases to trial, even though we know that most cases do not go to trial. Most of our cases end with a negotiated settlement, or go to mediation or arbitration.  Nevertheless, we achieve the best result by working collaboratively with our clients from the start under the assumption that the case will go to trial.
